Start with Provo
White sand and remarkably clear water make Turks & Caicos look simple on a map. Planning the right trip is slightly more complicated. It's an archipelago of 40 islands and cays, nine inhabited — and the experience changes quickly once you leave the Grace Bay resort corridor.
North and Middle Caicos feel quieter and more natural. Grand Turk brings history and diving. Smaller islands move at a very different pace.
